INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

SUNDAY MARCH 8 2026

This International Women’s Day, let’s honour women with evidence-based health education that empowers lasting wellbeing in work and life

Three reasons to empower people with hormone health education.

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.

Very few women understand the impact of hormones on their health. Empowering people with this knowledge allows them to take proactive action toward better health, resulting in the ability to thrive at work and at home.

RETENTION.

Up to 1 in 10 women will leave the workforce during perimenopause. Up to 73% of those women won’t realise they’re in perimenopause, and won’t be able to support themselves as a result. It’s not just perimenopause that impacts workplace retention, hormonal health issues often reduce the span and trajection of a woman’s career. Empowering women with knowledge and support increases retention and career opportunities.

SAFETY.

All workplaces have a positive duty to eradicate discrimination on the grounds of sex and to create psychosocially safe workplaces. Knowledge about the women-specific health concerns reduces the risk of unintentional discrimination and damage, and enables leaders to lead with knowledge and empathy.
