For The Pause offers events with all, or a mix of all 4 offerings, or you can mix and match to create something that suits you.
1:1 sessions are also offered to provide you an opportunity to find the exact information, tools and support you need.

For The Pause offers the Sex Ed we should have received in high school. We distil the latest research from trusted experts like Dr Louise Newson, Dr Lisa Mosconi, Dr Mary Claire Haver, Dr Stacy Sims, Professor Jayashri Kulkarni, and other leaders in women’s health AND synthesise insights from longitudinal studies on women’s health (WHI, SWAN & ALSWH).
These sessions empower you with clear, non-biased insight into what’s happening in your body and brain, without having to wade through mountains of medical journals.
Better still, you’ll receive tools & tips for how to navigate our medical system with this important and empowering knowledge.
This is science & evidence based information made accessible, practical and sometimes funny, so you can walk away informed, reassured, and ready to take charge of your next era.

For The Pause is built on the foundations of Self Determination Theory (SDT). SDT suggests that in order to thrive in life, humans need Competence, Agency & Relatedness. For The Pause aims to provide all 3 of these things to allow people to thrive in this era of life.
Our workshops also share proven tools and methods from Positive Psychology (aka: Wellbeing Science) so you can apply the ones that work for you to your life.

YOGA
The Pause in For The Pause…
For The Pause offers evidence based Yoga practices that can assist in managing all stages of menopause, as well as general classes that create a space to help you deeply rest, manage stress and connect with yourself.
You’ll be guided through gentle Yoga, Breathwork and Meditation practices that will leave you feeling rested, centered and maybe a little zen.
For The Pause Yoga, meditation and breathwork offerings are trauma-informed, Mental Health Aware and always optional.
There’s no Instagram poses here, just a safe place to rest, restore & connect with yourself.
COMMUNITY
Community is medicine.
For many people, connection is key to this incredible era of our lives.
While connection looks different for everyone, For The Pause creates space for you to share your strory, listen to the stories of others and perhaps for the first time, be TRULY heard and supported by others who understand what you’re experiencing.
For The Pause community provides a space to support eachother, and to be eachothers cheerleaders as we move in to this next powerful era.
